About Anarashii

Anarashii is a word I have coined myself - incorporating two different languages even! By combining Ana (being me!) and -rashii (a Japanese suffix meaning "-ish" or "-like") you get something "Ana-ish" or "a piece of me" ; )

Baby mitts GIVEAWAY!!!

For me, they're not mitts if they don't have thumbs - can't stand the thumb-less ping-pong paddle look-a-likes! So for a few months now I've been attempting to get the thumbs on my mitts right so I can finally get a pattern typed up and listed. I still don't feel that they're right - but then again, I'm incredibly fussy! I also like to figure out my own patterns independently - my favourite self-torture of choice.

ANYWAY I've decided to have a Give-away and perhaps it can be a win-win type situation? Make a comment and help me out - perhaps you could comment on the thumbs? How they could be better - smaller, thinner, placed lower down? OR perhaps you think they're perfect as is?? (I'm not completely averse to blatant flattery.....) and then I shall unbiasedly write out everyone's names, place them in a bucket or a hat or perhaps a bucket hat - tsumari, some sort of paper scrap holding recepticle and pick one at random to be the lucky recipient of...... (below, LOOK down BELOW!!)

Please - try not to let yourselves be overwhelmed by their cuteness - difficult, I know.
Looking forward to hearing from everyone!
